Dear Friend,

God has a powerful word for you today. But before I begin to share with you from the wonderful, life-changing Word of God ... I must tell you this:

You are a blessing to me, and I cherish your partnership as we faithfully advance the Gospel together. In this troubled world of ours, God’s precious Word is the only hope, the only answer, the only solution.

Today, I’m going to speak to your heart about The Roaring Lion.

1 Peter 5:8 (NIV) says, “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” Who is he looking to devour? You ... me ... the children of America.

The Bible paints a tremendous picture for you, beloved. When we talk about “Satan,” we’re not talking about an ugly man with a pitchfork and tail ... we’re talking about a hungry, stalking, roaring beast. You don’t mess with the devil.

Here’s the plain-and-simple truth: Take God out of the scheme of things and the lion gets you. You’re on your own.

Just look at what became of Cain — because he is no different than your son or your daughter or you and me. Cain is everywhere in America today. He decided that he would not listen to what God was saying ... he would do things his way, not God’s way. And the lion got him.

Friend, if you walk away from God, you have no other way to be forgiven…you have no other way to have peace…YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.

But let me assure you of this: God has provided a way out. He IS the way out. He is clear on the consequences of sin, but He is also clear on what you can do.

As you bless The Encouraging Word with your faithful gift this month, I will send you my message on CD or DVD: The Roaring Lion. I want you to understand Satan’s tactics — and more importantly, I want to help you arm yourself against them by the power of God so that you can stand strong.
